I went to this place to return 10 bags worth of cans and when I tried to open the door, it was locked with a sign on the door saying "Sorry, we are closed", It was 2:15pm on Wednesday. I looked to the left and their hours of operation said monday-Friday open 9:30-5pm???!!! I knocked on the glass door where they could clearly see me and they would not even have the decency to come to the door for someone that traveled all across town to turn in the cans. Lowell Bottle & Can Return Center, Tanner Street They tried to Scam me - well - they scammed me. I brought in exactly $6.00 cans, but instead of paying me, they put just a six on paper. When I came back with the 3rd load of cans, they had changed the person at the register & would not pay me for the earlier cans. Suddenly they only spoke Spanish.
