Finally I have found someone I can trust. I have been trading with these guys at Louder’s for the last 8 years. I’ve had at least 10 different used cars between my wife, 4 adult children and myself. Louder’s always give me a square deal, great repair and price. Often Bob has recommended no repair when another shops, I'm sure, would have taken advantage of me.

My son attends WMU and had some major car problems while living in Kalamazoo. I arranged all the repair details over the phone from Lansing. They replaced an engine for us and almost a year later we had transmission problems. They discovered that our transmission problem was just low fluid. Their honesty and dependability was amazing. If you are looking for a mechanic that will be honest and affordable then this is the place to use.

A Very Honest and Reputable Auto Repair Shop: Our daughter got a second opinion from Lowder's about a $600 brake job that another shop said she needed, because they said the brakes were worn out. Lowder's said that the brakes were almost new, and only charged a very nominal fee to clean the brakes while they inspected that they were fine, So they saved our daughter almost $600! ATTENTION, College Students and parents of College students away from home, DO NOT HESITATE to have your car repaired with these guys. They were very honest and the price was right. I had my daughters car fixed here. They could have taken advantage of the situation but gave an honest and fair service. I should know, I am a mechanic too,... but live too far away to do it myself. BTW: They did not know about my skills prior to their diagnosis.

I am glad I went to Lowder's Automotive! I was badly in need of a new tie rod on my daily driver. I called around to a few other places, but they couldn't get to my car for at least a week. I called Lowder's and spoke to someone friendly, competent, and ready to look at my car the very next day. I was quoted $200 for tie rod, alignment and labor and was pleasantly surprised to get out the door for $170. It was much easier to let them work on my rusty car.
