Yemassee, SC. I did not know exactly what the speed limit was going directly through this town. I saw the police car but did not think I was going to fast. My mistake. My suggestion is, unless you see the speed limit sign, go 25 mph!! The signs you do see, change quickly. 55, 40, 35, 25....weird. Got stopped near railroad tracks. 43 in 25 zone. 4 points and $180. Went to their traffic court. Dropped my 4 points, but raised my fee to $232. Plus, $4.94 service fee. Only exact cash, no change. Will take credit cards. Be very ca... read more
I did not get the chance to wander around the area, so I didn't see any of these natural sights that there is pictures of on here. The house itself is a huge letdown. It didn't have much of any history information. It is mostly a store of antiques and random tourist stuff when though it advertised as a historical site.
