Lowa doesn't stand by their product. The midsoles of my six-year-old $240 Lowa Renegade boots crumbled into tiny bits and both soles fell completely off. The boots were well taken care of with plenty of miles left in the uppers and soles. Lowa refused to replace. They acknowledged that their midsoles degrade with time. Offered me 40% off new Lowas- that would cost me $144 to replace... I don't think so. Buy Merrill, Vasque, Ecco instead- great boots that last, great customer service and they stand by their product.
