My moped broke down on a bit far from home. Lowcountry Scooters was the only place available at the time to tow it, and I didn't want to risk it getting stolen. I explained to a guy on the phone named Mike that I was worried about letting them work on it. I told him about how the last time I brought it in to have the accelerator cable replaced I lost at least 5mph off the speed, and the staff were rude and nasty when I brought it back. I don't usually write reviews, but I feel a duty to warn people about this place. Perhaps I got them on a bad day (or several of them, because it took them several days to service my scooter---and I still had to wait over an hour for it to be done after they called me and said it was ready for pickup). They charged me twice what they quoted me and still screwed up my service. I had to take it to another mechanic two weeks later to fix an obvious problem that LC Scooter missed. I was amazed at the wonderful customer service and sales team at Low Country Scooter on Hwy 17. Carl (the owner) is knowledgable, friendly, and is great at setting up and educating new customers. We had limited knowledge walking into the business and came out knowing exactly what we needed. Both my wife and I strongly recommend Low Country Scooter to anyone in the tri-county area who is looking for scooter sales or service!
