If you are looking for a out of the way place for a bite to eat this is the that place. The menu is every true BBQ enthusiasts will find everything and they have some stuff for the non-BBQr (children). I drove 50 miles to visit Low and Slow at the Johnston County Airport on July 4 because I had family and friends visiting from out of town who wanted to experience a true North Carolina barbecue restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of expectations. The service was simply unacceptable. We have been there approximately four times for dinner. The first two times the food was fit for consumption. Then our last two trips the food was not fit for consumption. One of the items we sent back for being overcooked returned not much better than it was previously. The view is great, the food not so much. If they dont get an experienced kitchen manager their buisness will be calling MAYDAY soon. Food quality is not good and too costly.
