Was in lovisa at Charlestown square this morning for about half an hour trying to decide on an earring stack, the two young girls working did not leave the desk to greet anyone, chatted very loudly the whole time about their personal lives and didn’t make any attempt to assist or walk around the store. Stopped chatting briefly to serve people but didn’t appear happy about it. We had my daughter (4) and niece's (10) ears pierced this morning at the Charlestown store. The 2 staff were lovely and professional. We had a great experience!

Bought flat back ear rings online but one pack was faulty they just wouldn't unscrew. So I took them in store to see if I could get a replacement since they were faulty. The replacement had the same issue. The worker assured me this was normal and proceeded to grab a set of pliers and and pulled the pieces apart wrecking the screw in system. I then asked if I could just refund both pairs but I couldn't since they were "body jewlery" despite never being opened but they gladly did an exchange for something of the same value. S... read more
Be wary of getting piercings done here. I spoke to a girl wearing a "piercing specialist" badge and she didn't have any experience at all with piercings! It was her first day and she had on a specialist badge. Obviously a new hire but practice needs to be taken seriously before putting holes into children's ears! Her trainer also didn't seem to know much about piercing either. I've also heard screams coming from kids who get it done at lovisa.
