Good management
It breaks my heart to think about how tall these buildings used to stand 100 years ago and to see them now. Signs of deferred maintenance everywhere you look: broken window panes, a furnace that breaks at least once a year, inches of paint everywhere on everything...a nice power washing could do wonders even. Residents are heavily restricted with lease terms including a limitation to four plants, something I've never heard of...while living here I didn't have access to hot water more than twice over the course of several day... read more
I love my studio apartment at Townley. Pretty courtyard view, lots of natural light, and hardwood floors. The owners and maintenance staff take superb care of the building while preserving its historical integrity. The rental rates are lower than much of what you'll find elsewhere in Columbus, and the other tenants are friendly and respectful of one another.
