I had a great weekend in Level 1 kayaking with Alex and Virgil. They were a great coaching duo that really helped me improve my skills and comfort out on the water. The course was well structured allowing us to learn all the necessary skills and then utilize them out on our scavenger hunt on day two. I have been a recreational kayaker for 10+ years and decided to up my game and take the level 1 sea kayaking course with Lovesick kayaking. I learnt a lot and had fun doing so. The location is gorgeous, the format of lessons is fun and engaging. What I appreciated most was the lack of pressure to do anything you didn’t want to. Fun, engaging, safe, and relaxed. What more do you need?
I had an amazing Sunday taking a Basic Sea Kayak lesson with Lovesick Kayak, led by the fantastic Alex Grant. The class had six students, which made for a relaxed and comfortable learning environment. I recently took the Level 1 Sea Kayaking course with Lovesick Kayaking and had an absolutely fabulous time! The entire experience exceeded my expectations. Alex, our instructor, was wonderful, knowledgeable, encouraging, and made sure everyone felt confident and safe on the water. My husband and I just completed an awesome level 1 course. We learned so much, and Alex and Virgil were great and patient instructors. We will be back for level 2 next year!
