One of my all time favorite spots. Great seafood, and good people. And the setting couldn't be more picturesque .

It took us forever to get seated and when they did seat me they sat us near the door which was loud and annoying theres no view near the door also the little kid at the door was the worst hostess ever and there's a reason I say hostess he caught an attitude when we asked to be seated luckily the food was delicious and very quick the waitress was god once she came over to us could've been a little more attentive but I would definitely fire the little kid at the door almost left just because of him.

I'm a local, but I always enjoy going to Love's. It has a great view of the Ogeechee River, is comfortable and low-key, and serves great fresh seafood. My last visit put some wild-caught, fresh Georgia shrimp on the table, which was fried to perfection. Of course, the crispy scored flounder is excellent. Other notable restaurants serve this dish in Savannah, but Love's is just as good and less expensive.

We've been dining here for almost 20 years on and off and my family for many years prior. Whenever we're in town we make a point of stopping at Loves for great seafood, this trip was no exception. The place is always crowded, but we were seated quickly. I asked for seating by the window so we could see the Ogeechee River outside and they accommodated me. I like the crab balls and the hush puppies here- the tardar sauce is homemade really good ! The fried catfish are also good.
