Regrettably, I have to stop going to Lovely Nails because my appointment there this week left me feeling upset and unsafe. I had a 3 pm appointment, but the owner, Ann, called me at 2:15 and asked, "Can you come now?" I was in the middle of doing something, but I said okay. She said, "See you in 15 minutes," but there was road work on 145th Street that forced me to use a detour. I told her I wasn't sure I could get there in 15 minutes. This is my favorite nail salon in the north Seattle area. Have been to many in the area, and this is the best one. This is the only salon in the area I’ve found with great ventilation (most smell like strong acetone when you walk in, and that gives me an immediate headache/watery eyes), super friendly techs, good prices ($35 for a pedicure) and amazing customer service.
