Cute neighborhood shop Lovely Confections is in a cute little storefront along Colfax and they serve up very yummy cupcakes. Although you should come earlier in the day for the best selection and I appreciate that she most everything is organic and purchased and grown locally in Colorado.

Her primary business is making delicious and mostly organic (she tries her hardest to get and purchase organic items in/from Colorado) CUPCAKES. She now has gluten free, too. They are $3 each and with a dozen, you get an extra one for free. Her spot is a great place for a child's birthday party where the children get to ice and decorate their own cupcakes.
