The day was definitely fun, don’t get me wrong, but the parking situation left a lot to be desired. It was early, yet there was no parking at the facility. We parked in the public lot between Cindy’s and Hops & Berry and walked over, which is very close. Some of us went over the time prepaid for parking so we got tickets. It was all digital so I was surprised there was no text notification, but either way… others prepaid for plenty of time and still got parking tickets!! I took 3 teens/preteens on the Loveland Castle 5 mi. trip. They all loved it. The staff was attentive on both ends of the trip. I try to kayak down the Little Miami at least once annually. It was a beautiful, relaxing 2 hours. The river was on the low side, so we needed to push off from the rocks a few times with our paddles in our tandem kayaks, and that was fine. I plan to repeat this little adventure again whenever I can.
