I can literally NEVER reach this office for an appointment. Through my first pregnancy and now in my second, this is the only MFM provider in Santa Fe and it is impossible to get someone from this location on the phone. Despite calling several times and waiting weeks for a call back (I never got one) I ended up having to go to Albuquerque through my last pregnancy. Through 3 pregnancies, I endured ultrasounds here. Every time, I left with tears in my eyes. I hate Lovelace for making me feel scared about my ultimately very healthy and normal pregnancies. Tiny anomalies detected by the ultrasound were presented as huge and very frightening risks. The doctors on staff tried to talk me into early induction, genetic counseling, C-sections, and endless ultrasounds - very expensive inductions I did not need. I was very excited to see my little guy for his first ultrasound. Waited 40 minutes to be seen and i was there 15 minutes early for paperwork. I was told ,” sometimes babies don’t let us see what we need to, so it takes time.” Yet, my actual appointment was about 30 minutes long, and didn’t get a 3D because the baby didn’t let us see. Where was my time? Very special moment i was looking forward to all day, ruined. Wouldn’t recommend.
