My son was admitted into emergency room today. He has stage 4 cancer he is hypoglycemic and has a heart murmur. The only kept them there for an hour and discharged them stating on his discharge papers that he had refused treatment and evaluation. Which was a big fat lie. They took blood work x-rays they didn't even have them on an IV and they never told us his results or x-ray just discharged them. NEGATIVE STARS - WORST ER I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO - DO NOT VSIT THIS ER - KEEP DRIVING UNTIL YOU GET TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL. I have gone to Lovelace and this location in particular since I moved here 5 years ago. That all changed today when I visited the ER for shortness of breath and coughing. I checked in as pretty much the only patient there, but within minutes the waiting room filled up with other patients. I’m 91 years old and I have Covid and I am at Loveless ER and I can’t get anybody to look after me and help me. It’s very disappointing. I need some help badly, but nobody pays attention to me. I guess they want me to die. If this keeps up I probably will.

I was in the ER on May 6th. I was “seen” by Peter Peloquin. I was seen in the waiting room behind a partition. No privacy. The doctor did not do a full exam, he rushed through everything. He did not even assess the main area of my complaint. He said I would be given a referral to neurosurgery and if I didn’t hear from them in 2 days, to call myself to schedule. Just came back from their ER. My pain was not addressed to any extent nor where my concerns properly listened to. I had to come home with continuous pain thats been increasing and told just take Benadryl. While reading my patient summary they did not list all of my symptoms, and the ones they did list are still incorrect. I had to call my GI doctor due to the lack of care and had to go to a different ER. Due to the incompetence of these nurses and doctors I found out from the second ER I did infact have an infection.
