Great food amd great customer service from Jay! Love it!
First off, most neglectful servers in the city! Took forever to place an order. Took forever to get the order. The drinks came after the food. The food was over priced and underwhelming. Gumbo hardly had meat in it. Might as well just serve rice and gravy. The pastalya was all noodles and sauce. I literally counted 2 shrimp 4 slices of sausage in my dish. This place is a “catfish” for sure. Save your money and time and try all the other restaurants in shaker square !
Came in on a slow Friday evening, despite being the only customers in the restaurant. Service was poor and slow, Certain menu items were unavailable, Catfish Poboy was great but literally everything else was lukewarm and NOT GOOD. Music was terrible, little to no decor at all almost empty looking. I didn't feel see or experience any "LOVE" or anything reminiscent of a "Bayou" whatsoever. Worst restaurant experience I've had in a while.
Okay… Loved Bayou.. The salmon? Crispy on the outside, juicy inside. The dirty rice? So flavorful, I legit wanted seconds. This combo hits every time. 10/10
