Sarah is outstanding! She and another colleague have come two years in a row to present to our faculty and staff on Neuroscience of the Teenage Brain and the Science of Empathy. The faculty feel they are the best PD they have had in years. We leave with actual tools to use with our students, a better understanding of both ourselves and the teenagers we work with, and plenty of resources to keep digging or further explore. I just attended Sarah’s Wintering Well workshop and if you ever need a recharge sign up for one of these! A wonderful way to reorder your priorities, values, and align with practical, faith-based tools. Sarah's enthusiasm for making calm instead of busy the new family norm is inspiring! Sarah is someone who you can feel relatable to talk with. She’s comfortable sharing her own experiences to help others grow from their own situations. She’s a completely humble human being and when sharing with her, you don’t feel judged, on the contrary, she’s trying to uplift and empower others, so we can all live our lives in our very own best potential. She always creates a space of warmth, and trust when working with groups.
