I bought the Helite Turtle 2 Airvest in black a few weeks ago at the IAM Skills Day at Thruxton race course. I tried it around the track and was nicely pleased that I didn’t even notice I had it on. Nick of LL&R came to my motorcycle club and did a very comprehensive and informative presentation. After thinking it over, I decided an airbag vest was for me, and was pleased to see him again at Mallory Park. He answered some detailed questions I had, so I bought one on the spot. Recommended.

I bought my Helite airbag jacket on 12 November 2024 and in the last five weeks of awful weather, it has kept me warm and dry. It replaces a Klim Badlands - so the comparator is of high quality. Surprisingly the Helite with all its airbag paraphernalia does not weigh as much and is more comfortable. My heated jacket (Keis with sleeves) fits well and does not restrict movement - although I did take out the removable lining. The pockets and zips - have become used to them now.
