We're local and I've had a few sub-standard interactions with companies we've hired for various projects, so I've become leery. I want to be able to trust people to do quality work at a fair price. Lou's Service Center is a company I trust who will have all our future business. They provide happy service, text and call for updates, charge a reasonable service fee and have easy drop off/pick up. Definitely a well-managed company with pride in what they do.
My granddaughter was traveling from northeast Maine from college when she had trouble with her car. Her and her boyfriend stopped in Lou's which was the closest repair shop and got great service. Jonathan was very professional and tried very hard to get the car up and running in one afternoon. Unfortunately it required more time than that but the were able to get it ready by midmorning Monday so they could continue on their way. Found a cracked stabilizer bracket and called up a local welder and he recommended Lou's. I called them as I was a mile and a half from them and he said get right over he had a bay open and would look at it for me. I pulled in he showed me the cracked mount and said he would weld it right up for me. 15 minutes and a quick weld and only $67 later and safe once again I was very greatful for the help.
