Lous Cafe, Across the street from the Hilton hotel. Also Lous is just few blocks from Radio city, rockefeller Center and the theater district. Great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its probably the best bargain in Midtown. Worth trying.
Good food for a good price I came upon this spot on a recent visit to New York. It is a cozy spot in midtown and offers a wonderful selection of excellent and unusual foods. I had a great salad with slices of toast topped with feta cheese, walnuts and honey.delicious!
Great sandwiches – I popped in to grab a sandwich to go. I got a chicken wrap sandwich, made fresh, loaded with lots of juicy chicken plus a side of pasta with a light pesto. Very good and very fresh!
very rude manager and poor service – On Oct 21, 2007, I setup a 10:30A brunch with friends to meet my mom who was visiting from out of town. None of us had ever been to this restaurant but most of the reviews sounded promising. Upon arrival, we stood in the front to await someone to sit us. When I realized we'd been standing there a while (about 8 min) and no one had approached to at least ask about our party size... read more

Everyone knows my name Lou's is a fantastic little restaurant tucked away in Midtown. Pastas, salads, sandwiches, are all excellent. They do a lovely brunch on the weekends, as well.
Respite from the Hilton – Food is good, plentiful, and surprisingly imaginative for a small cafe. Breakfast is an especially good deal. The staff is unfailingly pleasant and welcoming and the desserts are killer. What is especially nice is the contrast of Lou's pleasant attitudes and good value with the Hilton Towers' bad attitude and worse service. In the course of a week's stay at the Hilton we dined at Lou's several times and the walk accross the street was more than rewarded. If weather permits it is fun to sit at one of... read more
