I've been with Lourdes for over a decade, and as it usually goes, I've seen more than my share of new doctors for primary care. My current provider, Dr Benjamin Forbes, is an outstanding doctor. Its difficult in this day and age to find health care that actually cares for their patients, listens and shows concern when issues arise. I give two star for how they helped with covid. but to leave me in the state of pain they with all my dental pains/broken teeth is crazy. Dentists werent taking new patients over the months. Haven been able to work to earn money to afford help. If I had pain help I couldve been working this whole time. Because they left me in this state of pain, they put me on anxiety meds because of how much pain I was in. Ate once a day with extreme pain. Went down from 145 to 125 in cpl months. No hope. Tried. For those in pain, with real inuuries, i hate to say, theres no hope. Besides the hello and goodbye, theres not much this place can do. I give one star for the nurses who try. And Dr. Frobes tried. But they, in the end, left me in a state of pain where I couldnt eat and dropped from 160 to 140, then 140 to 125. Theyre literally letting me rot away when they could simply help with pain. Hard to work, or even wake up, when the body is suffering months of pain, inability to eat and weight loss. The staff is genuine and makes a true effort. Dr. Forbes is a good doctor as he listens and tries to help. The nurses I had were down to earth and skilled. The people are who make a place a good one. This particular location of Lourdes is supportive.
