What a beautiful experience I had visiting this place 💓 I was visiting my family about 20 mins away and wanted some whole crabs! I had the crab cakes- amazing! The cornbread- a pleasant surprise in flavor -lightly sweet and moist! And the fries were lightly seasoned to perfection! I also had the roasted garlic crabs‼️‼️‼️ ahhhhmazing! Perfectly seasoned, meaty, the sauce-top tier! I thought I would need butter- Not at all! AMAZING XL and Jumbo crabs…the best blue claw crabs I’ve had in years. Big, juicy, delicious, lots of meat. Mid June 2026. Thanks Lou!!! Casual homey place. Great owner!!
The place looks like it should be closed because there wasn't any representation of crabs. I purchased the garlic crabs and the owner told me they were meaty. When he handed me my well wrapped order, I was excited because it felt heavy, so good crabs (I thought)😔 When I arrived home and opened the container, it was full of liquid oil/garlic (yuck). The crabs were shallow and tasteless. The owner was confident that his were better than any other, I digress!!
Just stopped in to Loupys and got the garlic snow crabs and they were delicious! Michael was super personable and provided a lot of knowledge and perspective. The snow crabs were fresh and had amazing flavor! Highly recommend stopping in and giving this place a try!
