I got gel x for the first time, wanted to get something other than acrylic. First of all, the prices do not match the website! It said full color fell x tips would be $60. The lady changed the price to $75 when I confirmed the price saying that the internet isn’t correct. Second, she said it would last 3-4 weeks depending on how I use my hands. I really wanted to love my experience here, but unfortunately I left a little disappointed. I had asked for a simple French tip, but it didn’t turn out the way I hoped. The process also felt a bit rough on my nails and took much longer than expected. The staff was kind, but I don’t think the service was worth the time or price.
Update 08/25: One nail broke only a few days after the service and another broke a few days after that. I was not harsh on them and there was no impact to cause them to break. When I went to get my set removed at another salon a couple weeks after I got them done, the nail tech said that all of my Gel X nails were lifting up a lot as well.
