We stopped by to purchase a t-shirt in the window. The place is beautiful. It is filled with Louisville history and artifacts. They sell everything from t-shirts, stickers and pins to beautiful glassware and bar items like mint julip syrup and cherries for an old fashioned. Definitely worth stopping by.

The visitor center was nice , but in an unexpected place . I had to park two blocks away , because all the close parking was filled up . The person I spoke with was very helpful .

Called for assistance. Was referred to the website and was given the distinct impression that the call was a bother and I should refer to the online Official Visitor Guide. Was made to feel that I should do my own research and not to bother this center with any inquiries. Saddened that the first impression of Loisville was this dismissive and curt brushoff.

Update 12/23: I had to knock this review back down as the center never followed through on making the issue right, really disappointing. The staff were super welcoming, however as we were talking with them we were told we would receive a 25% discount on merchandise at the store. The center recently reached out to make things right so I’m changing my review to reflect that. Service like that is rare these days.
