Have no complaint about treatment or doctors. However their policy of requiring an office visit, to order to get a shoe lift prescription, from Hangar prosthetics is joke, NOT Required by government regulations, and a waste of money. Louisville Orthopedic must have a financial interest (like their physical therapy group) or is just colluding with Hangar clinic to generate unnecessary office visits and fees. Both should end policy immediately! Shame on you Louisville Orthopedic and Hangar Clinic!!!
I just spent 30 minutes making one appointment and the receptionist hung up on me. Very unprofessional. I was put on hold 5 times and had to talk with 3 individuals. I am a returning patient but was told I couldn't make an appointment until I had my medical records sent over from a previous surgery over 1 year ago. When I made my first appointment, I was told the same exact thing about medical records, which were previously sent months ago. Expect to wait months. I had to wait 6 weeks for an appointment, then I saw the nurse practitioner which was OK but I had to wait another 6 weeks to see the doctor. Now the scheduler for surgery is off work and no one is calling to schedule my surgery as promised. Not the kind of service I have had in the past from here. I guess I will look for some place else and start over.
