MUST READ: This group is awesome!!! Signed up and am fostering 5 new trees in Shelby Park. They showed up with tons of volunteers, the mayor, and made sure these were the right height of tree with proper spacing from power lines and underground utilities. I hope the city and utility companies will realizes what a great resource they have here and continue to improve future planning.
Wonderful oorganzation which, unfortunately, will make NO PROGRSS on the TREE CANOPY portion of its mission until steps are taken to address the SINGLE LARGEST THREAT to both new and mature trees: OVERHEAD UTILITY LINES
I believe this organization makes a great contributions to better our lives. I am impressed and excited to assist in any way that I can.
