Never been but hope to go soon
We went the Saturday before Labor Day. There were a handful of other groups, and one big group having a BBQ on one of the banks. We did the 2 hour float, which was enough for us, but everyone else did the 4 hours (price is the same). They bussed us up to the start location, gave us tubes, and we got in by ourselves. The water was fine for a natural river, and there's a bit of tree cover towards the sides of the river, but not much. Several places to get out and chill on the banks if needed. I’ve been coming here for years now and this is the best river experience you can have on the Bogue Chitto. Reagan and his team are fantastic to work with and really welcome you in as part of the family to make sure you have a fantastic time. Highly recommended to anyone in the area!
