I saw an advertisement for this restaurant on Louisiana one tank trips so when we were in town we stopped by. I am so very glad we didn’t make a special trip. I would have been very disappointed had I made a special trip for this food. I would give the food an 3 out of 10. The bread pudding was mush. The fried fish was nothing but batter. The cornbread tasted like it came from a box. The service was ok. The gumbo had NO flavor! I would not call this southern food because nothing had any flavor. Everything was just meh!
A very pleasant surprise. Maybe quality of food used not the best, but they knew how to make it taste good.
Nasty, that place is a disgrace to louisiana cooking. Food not fresh and what the got Yankees cooking food no flavor a total waste of money and time. For people who finds their food good probably never had real home down the bayou cooking.
My family and I had a wonderful lunch! The food was excellent and the service was stellar! Our server Irma was so friendly and attentive! We are going to be returning again and again!
