Breakfast and Lunch Great food and lots of variety. There are 27 different omelettes on the menu. The homemade cinnamon rolls are the best. Also like the homemade coffee cake. I have never done lunch there but did do a rootbeer float with coffe cake once. Not too bad.
Great buckwheat pancakes. Terrible service. Disgusting looking diner. The buckwheat pancakes are super delicious. My husband got eggs, sausage and pancakes that he also loved. The service is mediocre at best and the restaurant needs some serious renovating, but our breakfast was delicious. Prices are just ok.. probably a little high considering the rundown nature of the diner. It cost me about $10 (I think) for a 3-stack of large buckwheat pancakes with strawberries. Breakfast and lunch - old fashioned diner. Service and food delivery can be good or bad.
Great bakery, good food...... – This place has good food, whether you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner. But its always crowded and the service is slow. We never tried making reservations so I'm not sure they're offered but if you don't mind the wait it is well worth it. It's not that the waiters are slow but it takes a while for your order to be prepared. And if you're staying in SLO then you'll want to pick up some bakery items to take back to your motel.
