Home away from home. I love this little nostalgic dinner. Good all American place to be served the way you like. The food and staff are great. I like where its located too. I always try to stop in for a late home style cooked breakfast when ever I'm in town, just because I always feel so at home here. After I finish eating, I really enjoy just sitting around, drinking coffee, and listening to the local chatter about whats going on in SLO town. Nice place to meet people too.

The service is mediocre at best and the restaurant needs some serious renovating, but our breakfast was delicious. Prices are just ok.. probably a little high considering the rundown nature of the diner. It cost me about $10 (I think) for a 3-stack of large buckwheat pancakes with strawberries. They charged me $2.75 for strawberries - a bit much in my ... read more
