Love this little getaway Park and pier in Red Hook. Nice crowd when the weather is nice and with the famous Steve’s Authentic Keylime pie next door along with some brewery and winery. Nice spot for a day getaway for a view of Statue of Liberty in downtown Manhattan along with a tiny beach if you wish soak up some sun. Yes you heard correct, a small beach. Be aware, parking is very limited near the park just park a few blocks away for easier in and out access.
Ein kleiner Park mit Sitzgelegenheiten im Schatten sowie in der Sonne, wunderbare Aussicht auf die Freiheitsstatue, reger Schiff und Fährenverkehr sowie Helikopter und Flugzeuge zu beobachten. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Badestrand und Pier. Der Park wird stark von Hundebesitzern frequentiert und nicht alle entsorgen deren Hinterlassenschaften, also Vorsicht!
