I saw him in 2023 after some autoimmune tests came back positive while experiencing all kinds of mysterious symptoms post a cortisone shot. He truly cared and listened to me. For the first time I felt like I was heard and cared for by a physician who is an expert in science and has a wonderful bedside manner. He is so patient and thorough. I am posting this review now because I just recommended a dear friend to him. He is top notch in his field and highly recommend.

Dr. Flaspohler is a wonderful doctor. I believe with all my heart he saved my life approx 23 years ago when very few doctors knew about scleroderma. Originally I was seeing another doctor that gave me the gloom that I would be dieing in the near future, she didn't read my tests well, didn't know how to treat my organs that were affected. While Dr. Lou appeared to be kind and attentive during my visits, I ultimately feel compelled to share my disappointment and frustration with the care I received. Despite listening to my concerns, I discovered that I was misled and ultimately scammed by the doctor's recommendations to just exercise more, hydrate, seek counseling and do a sleep study.
