Dr. Louis Chang and his team are very professional. They took my lower back pain very seriously and understood exactly where the pain was. On the day of my spine surgery, my parents were impressed of the detail Dr. Chang explained how the surgery was going and then finalized. Dr Chang is the consummate professional. Technically, skilled and sincerely concerned that his patience’s have the best outcome. A year after my minimally invasive TLIF I am pain-free, getting the strength back in my left leg and walking 2 to 3 miles a day without a cane. Before my surgery, I could hardly walk 500ft. I highly recommend Dr. Chang.
Dr. Chang performed my minimally invasive L4-5 TLIF last Friday at Suburban. When my husband and I first met Dr. Chang for his opinion, he reviewed my most recent spine imaging in a way that we both understood what we were seeing (and my husband is not in a medical field). I was recommended to Dr. Chang by my previous doctor, who stated, “Dr. Chang is one of the best neurosurgeons in Maryland.” I completely agree with that statement; he is an excellent surgeon.
