KEEP THE PICON!! ok so I wont give low stars only because I love this place and want it to stay alive. But the new Toro Amer isnt gonna cut it. Keep the traditions alive. The food here is great. The people even better. But the whole point is the culture... and it should not be changed. This is what keeps us coming Also Mike the bartender is a mainstay
How the mighty have fallen. Louis' was once one of the best Basque restaurants in the U.S., offering authentic flavors of the Basque country in a traditional family atmosphere. The courses are still served family style and the service is first class, but the flavors are toned down. No longer worth taking the family to its rundown Reno neighborhood, but at least they still make a good Picon Punch.
Was so impressed with this place. Family style eatery with communal tables where you can chat with your table mates. Super simple but they knock it out of the park with their attention to detail and execution. Food is great and so much more than one person can eat. Guarantee it will not disappoint.
Great family style Basque experience. Everyone at every table was having fun and the locals are so amazing and they love to help you.
