I just need to shout out Matt and the Louie’s crew. We have had Louie’s cater several events at Persimmon, and they never miss. Matt has fantastic customer service and honestly just takes the guesswork out of catering an event. They have just really gone above and beyond for us, they provide everything, AND drop the food off. Beyond that, they have - in my opinion - possibly the best TX BBQ I’ve had. Also, the sides. THE SIDES. I have dreams about their mac-n-cheese and their potato salad. $80 for a pound of brisket, a few ribs, a sausage, and two small sides, and I ended up throwing it away after a few bites. Legit some of the worst bbq I've ever had.
My wife and I want to give a tremendous shout out to both Joe and Noah. Their customer service is ELITE. We watched them go above and beyond in their service to everyone who arrived. We got the two brisket tacos and the potato with brisket. We ate them so fast I forgot to snap a pic. Typing this I’m actually getting hungry. The food here is incredible. Thank you Joe and Noah for being so professional and courteous and for serving up a perfect lunch!
Got chopped brisket tacos with cream and creamy jalapeño sauce on a whim this morning and WOW! SO good! Will def be back! I don't write a ton of reviews but had to say something!
I can’t say enough good things about this place. Best bite in downtown Buda hands down. For a reasonable price and zero-long lines, you can get incredibly flavorful and tender bbq. Our favorites were the RIBS(!!!) and brisket, but we loved it all - seriously. It was one of those meals you keep saying “oh my gosh this is so good” as you eat. The Mac and cheese was amazing, so silky and cooked perfectly. The sandwich was a good portion and well balanced. Love the pickled onions & their choice of pickle. We’ll be back!!!
