Auto Body Repair and Paint Our family owned and operated business started out in 1968 with a small shop on Alexander Street in downtown Charleston. We are now currently located at 429 Fleming Rd. on James Island. With our state of the art facility, combined with our family style customer service, we are your one stop shop for collision repair. We can also handle that little scratch or help with minor repairs like changing out a bulb. We are here to service our customers and our community.

Had an amazing experience. Vince really looked out for me. At first, the color door we needed was not available. Somehow, they managed to find the right one. I paid $300 LESS than the estimate. I highly recommend Louie and Sons. They are honest and do a great job!!

I came in 3 minutes before closing today, having told the man behind the desk a red-head lady would be coming in just before closing to have him look at a crack in the plastic chrome of my grill. He recognized the red- head as soon as I got there and immediately went out to survey the damage. Within 30 seconds Jude, as his name turned out to be, had essentially fixed the grill. The whole process was great. Vince gave me a fair price with and estimate and called each day during the repair. Fair price, courteous, and great work.
I took my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe after I PLOWED into the back of an Izuzu Trooper with a spare tire mounted on the back to Louie and they did a phenomenal job of repairing it! Thanks to Everyone there!
Great shop!!!!! I recently brought my truck to Louie & Sons for some repairs. My insurance company tried to get me to go someplace else because this shop was not on their preferred list. I had several people tell me this was the place to go. The staff were very helpful in explaining the process and worked with my insurance company. My truck looks like new. I will never go anywhere else.
I took my 2000 Acura to Louie and Sons because I liked the look of the shop as well as the quality of the front office staff. I had approximately $3500 worth of damage and the insurance company was trying to nickel and dime me into getting a cheap repair job. Louie and Sons fought to get a top quality job done and didn't allow the insurance company to bully me around. They handled everything both professionally and with my best interest at heart.
