Lou designed and led the team renovating the kitchen of our Craftsman-style home nine years ago. It remains functional and beautiful. Lou's a pro and his love of the craft shines through.
Lou Kern is an amazingly talented carpenter who not only creates beautiful objects, but also listens closely to his clients in order to incorporate their needs and desires. He has built two projects for our family: a very attractive set of bunk beds for our twin girls, and a custom-built staircase for our renovated home. Lou is the kind of craftsman one can only dream about finding in this age of make-do, cheap knock offs. Lou creates the real deal using his vast knowledge of wood and the craftsmanship it takes to create a piece with lasting beauty. I say "piece" because these are truly artisan.
