Bought my x300 series Jaguar XJ6 late last year from Lou after deciding my first ever Jaguar had to come from Lou Guthry Motors. The car is in exceptional condition inside, externally and mechanically which defies it's 30 years, and draws nice compliments most places I take her. Thought I was talking to someone who knows and appreciates Jags, turned out I was talking to just your average used car dealer. Tried to tell me my car wouldn't sell for 38k when he is asking $40k for MUCH lower spec of the same car that's two years older than mine 🤣🤦 Didn't even bother to ask for photos or paperwork, just took a back foot approach straight out of the gate and shot me down. Wonderful service and advice when we bought our first 'Cat', my husband's S Type , a truly beautiful car. Lou was kind enough to open the shop on the weekend for us and that's when l spotted my XF and bought that home too! This will always be the first place we go to if looking for another 'Cat.'
Great experience purchasing a vehicle from Lou, small dealer so you do get that personal element. Cars are presented beautifully and have been previously well maintained.
