They have a phenomenal deal on synthetic oil changes and tire rotations. They call it "prepaid maintenance". You buy a package of 5 oil changes and tire rotations for the price of $400 (tax is included in that). So with this deal 1 oil change and tire rotation is $80 combined. This is for synthetic oil changes too. If you go to Walmart a tire rotation costs $20 plus tax . . . Which means this dealership is giving you a synthetic oil change for $60 (tax included). The brand new car I bought had a tire damaged that they replaced with a “brand new”. But the new tire has a fabrication date of 2023 when the car was a 2025 model. So they gave me an old tire. I did not noticed on time. They did not do a fair change.
I have purchased or leased five new vehicles from Lou Fusz in Creve Coeur (four Mazdas, one Kia). Historically the service department has been fine, but it has become outrageously bad, as has the body shop. I leased one of the first new CX-90s when it was released at the end of 2023, and almost immediately after taking possession the hatch would not close properly and had to be manually pushed shut. This is the worst dealership I’ve gone to. My family has been buying from Lou Fusz since I was a kid and my dad would brag about them to everyone. Since I bought my Mazda here a couple of years ago, I have been treated like an idiot. I recently moved states away and went to my local Mazda service shop. I’ve been treated like a person there and they have called out THIS dealership for giving me inaccurate information about my car and for the improper work done on it.
