I wanted very minor cosmetic changes to my teeth and enquired about composite bonding to make my teeth look more uniform as they were already straight but some teeth were shorter one one side. They said it wasn't a good idea and recommended aligners. $6000 and one year later my teeth look exactly the same and it turns out they just don't like doing veneers/bonding on patients.
