I bought a beautiful bag that came with the wrong strap. Their customer service is beyond horrible. First they tried to tell me that I had to buy the correct strap - that strap that it's pictured with on the website. It took screen shots sent to them before they agreed to give me the correct strap BUT I needed to mail the bag and the incorrect strap back to them. I too would give less than one star if able. My family and I were loyal supporters of this local leather goods company. In the past, when things needed to be repaired, they were completed in a timely manner. The products were beautifully refurbished and mailed back out to us. However , recently I had one of their weekender bags where all of the rivets had come off, and the straps were falling off so I called them and got their answering machine where they stated that they would call return the call promptly. Nice product soured by terrible customer service. I won’t go i to all the details here but dealing with their customer service on a return has been a terrible experience. New, unused item returned per their return policy very shortly after arrival. Lots of “we’re sorry” emails but no action after about a month. It’s a shame because their products are well made.
I'd give less than one star if possible. I bought a bag from them in April and it started falling apart a few months in. I left a review about it in their website and found out that they had deleted it. When I reached out to them about it, they apologized and offered to repair my bag. I sent it in 6( weeks ago and I've received no communication about it despite emails and phone calls. I finally asked them for a refund- the only phone call they actually responded to. Horrible customer service. Ordered a custom piece it was “lost” after several months and many inquires that went ignored. Finally I had to dispute the charges. Instead, go with Lotuff’s competitor (and former partner) Frank Clegg. His stuff is outstanding and the customer service is top notch.
