Lost River Gorge Lost River Gorge is a great adventure for the 5 year old to 14 year old age group. It is a fun hike, with rocks and caverns to explore. The shop offers a good selection of snacks and gifts.
Great Waterfalls During our trip to NH this summer, we visited Lost River. Since the area had a large amount of rain over the last few weeks, the waterfalls were beautiful. However, some of the caves were closed because they were under water.
Lost River Gorge This is a fun place to take the kids. They can climb onto the rocks and go into some of the caves. It is a scenic walk for the adults and not too strenuous for grandparents.
Day trip We took the grandkids here (ages 4 to 12) and they loved it. The climb is tiring but not overly strenuous. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. It was well worth the money and I would highly recommend it.
