My group was camping at Ozette Campground, and had just gotten done backpacking. We were looking for a place to restock on snacks and potentially take showers, and stumbled upon this cute little place, however- it was not cute at all!! Is this place still open? We have camped here twice during high season for Ozette. It was basically wherever you can find a spot, which is fine. The general store was very helpful. But.. this is the only campground in the area other than Ozette that is an Olympic NP, first come first serve and can fill up. This is hours from anything. Which is why this was such a valuable resource for hikers. They promised that they had never had to turn away campers in many years of operation. This business has a very long history of negative reviews, descriptions of vile, unwelcoming, rude, abusive, toxic, and unprofessional behavior spanning more than a decade. Reviews I wish we had read before subjecting ourselves and our group to the wholly unacceptable abusive behavior of the owner. Our small group of fewer than 10 adults were the only people at the property upon checking in.
