Looking for good Mexican/Salvadorian food in Alexandria at a place that has as much focus on delicious food as it does margs? Los Tios is where it’s at. I got horchata, tamales, and pupusas. The salsa was the freshest in town and had the perfect amount of cilantro. The large horchata was LARGE and delicious, satisfied my horchata cravings. The service of the waiters is wonderful and the food is delicious, I love visiting this place, I feel at home.
We held a couple’s baby shower for my daughter and her husband at Los Tios in Del Ray. The atmosphere and heavy appetizers were exceptional. However, what set the restaurant apart was the service. Ivan was delightful to work with throughout the planning process. His staff was professional, personable and attentive to all of our needs. We had over 50 guests who thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.
