I ordered 1 tamale with rice and beans. The tamale had a strange taste, I wouldn't order it again. The rice and beans were fine. The AC didn't seem to be working, it was HOT in the area our family was sitting and everyone was sweating profusely. I hear the food is normally really good, so maybe it was just an off night. The waitress did a good job serving 11 people.
Favorite Mexican restaurant in the area, food has been pretty consistently tasty though sometimes it might seem a bit different than last time–still good. Love the salsa (habanero has deep flavor and perfect consistency). Staff is great—so very kind and welcoming. Za Za is the best, he makes sure everyone is having a good time, that they are ordering what they're looking for, and that everyone is happy with their food and drinks. Keep up the nice work!
Great vibe, AWESOME FOOD , THE BEST SERVICE
First off it was really hot inside the restaurant, they brought us salsa? Had no spice, tasted more like tomato sauce! We asked for queso, again it was very bland! After that I decided to just get ground beef nachos, my husband got a chorizo burrito, NOTHING was spicy!!! I asked for hot salsa, they brought out something with a little kick but it had a LOT OF BROWN SUGAR!!! We’ve gone there several times since they opened, this is the last! Taco Bell and Taco John’s food tastes better than this!!!
