I’ve spent 8 years being bounced to various doctors in the UCLA medical system, all for them to tell me that I had an anxiety problem. In one appointment, Dr Shamsi linked all my symptoms to 2 overlapping issues. The doc really knows his stuff, and for the first time in almost a decade I feel like a normal person again.
Coming from a family of doctors, I highly highly highly recommend Dr. Shamsi, not only for his advanced knowledge of gastroenterology, but for his advanced knowledge of general medicine. He will reach out and advocate for you, he will Contact other doctors on your behalf to make sure the whole picture is looked at when it comes to your health. I saw this doctor once and I regret the time I spend to even drive to his office. He is very unprofessional, disrespected, and care less. He rudely left the room when i was explaining my pain. He start texting and talking to the phone without let me finish talking . At the end he told me is a medication in canada for $8000, you can order it online. He didn't even exam me or listen to my concern.
There are not enough great things to say about Dr. Shamsi!! He is SO kind, caring, and really helped figure out what was going on with me. I went in with severe stomach pain and he quickly got me in for a colonoscopy and did a thorough examination. He was in touch with all my other doctors and found a solution to help fix my issue. He always made me feel comfortable and had a funny sense of humor especially when I was worried and scared. His staff is also fast and amazing. Thank you Dr. Shamsi for everything, you're amazing!
Dr. Shamsi, is a kind and caring person. He has a way of making you feel at ease. He was able to see my husband immediately which is unheard of these days and we are incredibly grateful. We highly recommend him.
