My friend was taking his watch for a new battery, so I asked him to take mine. Mine needed a battery and a new pin in one of the ceramic bracelet links. The jeweler used the wrong size pin and a tiny hammer and broke one of the ceramic links. She then decided to remove the broken link. Of course, once you remove the link, it changes length of the band and it would no longer fit my wrist.
