My wife took her subaru forester in there to fix rust on the door. They quoted us at $300 to fix it. It was a low price so we went with it. After starting the work, they realized they needed to replace the door and it would be $1,300. Everything was good up to this point. Then we said we'd like to get additional quotes to make sure that price was competitive. They said they would charge us $300 for the work already done if we took it anywhere else. I called another company and they quoted me at $700 but not a ton of savings ... read more
