My Mom has been there a week and she is generally upbeat and is loved.. She does not like it here and I don't blame her. I will definitely get back to the review and let everyone know how the rest of the stay is.
I moved into the Lorien in Taneytown just over a year ago. I can't get over how great the staff is here. So friendly and helpful every department and every shift is ready to do what ever I need help with. I brought my dog with me and she has managed to win over everyone who "walks" thru the door. She & I enjoy the activities especially the music, where she is able to get pets and love from many of the residents who attend. My Mom is a Resident here, after a few falls in her home. She is very Happy here and the people who care for her are very nice. So far Mom has liked them all. Mom says she sleeps well now, which was a problem at home. Thank you Candace, Verna and the Caretakers who keep my Mom Happy. She deserves to be worryfree. Oh and let's not forget everyone in the Assisted Living Facility who keep this place running.
