I am a musician who works as a vendor in several different nursing homes and assisted living communities in the area. This spring I became quite ill and landed in the intensive care unit at Frederick Health Hospital. After 2 1/2 weeks as a patient there, I was told that I would need to have short-term rehab before I could go home. Has been a wonderful experience for our family. My father is here for a short rehab and everyone has been great. Attentive and caring.
My father was a resident of Lorien Mt. Airy for a number of years. He recently passed away there at the age of almost 98. I live out of state and would call my father every day. They always helped me get my father on the phone, which required their assistance. They were patient, took great care of him, treated him with respect and got to know him well. I could not be more appreciative of our experience with the staff at Lorien Mt. Airy.

My mother moved in July 2025 and her quality of life has been restored thanks to the great staff at Lorien. From the move- in process, to proper meds scheduling, dining services, activities, housekeeping, daily caregiving and nursing, we have been very happy with everyone at Lorien. My mother is much happier with the personal touch they provide to her and the friendly faces.
